Ray Castillo


Ray has been working in human services for over 10 years and has 4 years of leadership in public and private agencies. He obtained his BA in Psychology at Trinity International University and is currently doing his clinical internship for his MA in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pfeiffer University in Charlotte NC.

Ray started his career as a child welfare worker in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, later transitioning in supervisory roles at other organizations working with teenagers at risk.

During his career and education, Ray has developed a strong passion for the LGBTQIA+ community with the mission of providing the best mental health care services.

As the Founder, President, and CEO of Pride Support Services of Charlotte, Ray has the vision of reaching our local LGBTQIA+ community and empowering each individual to become the best version of themselves.

Xavier Laporte


Xavier is a Puerto Rico native transplanted in Charlotte, he possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and is a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate.

As a mental health clinician with over five years of experience, he has a great passion for our LGBTQIA+ community.

Xavier is committed to empowering, strengthening, and improving the lives of all the LGBTQIA+, and strives for a future of inclusion and equality.

Shacoya Graham


Shacoya has worked in the helping profession for over 20 years and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Queens University of Charlotte. Understanding the power of therapy, she attained her Masters of Marriage & Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. She is excited to connect with people to create healthier individuals, families, and communities.

Shacoya is dedicated to working with a diverse and inclusive population of individuals, couples, and families struggling with various issues.

Shacoya’s love for people is what inspires her most.  Her genuine curiosity for others drives her to be a strong advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
As Clinical Director for Pride Support Services, Shacoya promotes healing, growth, and change through the lens of Narrative Theory.

Fernando Mayoral


Fernando is a Mexican native living in Charlotte, he possesses a B.S. in Electronic and Computer Engineering, and an MBA in Global Business Strategy.

He has over 9 years of experience managing marketing strategies and is currently working into strategic planning for SMBs to implement e-commerce and build their presence through digital marketing.

During his career, he has been working for different companies and non-profit organizations; developing a strong passion for minorities.

Fernando is committed to empower, strength and improve the lives of all the LGBTQIA+ community, and strives for a future of inclusion and equality.

Chris Hare


Chris joined Pride Support Services of Charlotte with the desire to make a difference in the LGBTQIA+ community. He has his AS in nursing from the Carolina College of Health and Sciences.

After working 10 years in the field both in trauma and medical ICU, Chris has worked for the last 16 years in the field of inventory control and logistics.

Chris is excited to join this organization and serve in the role of Development Coordinator facilitating growth according to the vision of this organization.

Ronnie Cooley


With birth roots in southern Appalachia, Ronnie has spent most of his years in Charlotte-metro.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and is in pursuit of a double Master of Business Administration / Master of Science in Leadership.

Ronnie has worked in the financial sector for over 18 years and has a passion for the health and wellness of the LGBTQIA+ community. He’s also the primary caregiver of our official mascot, a golden-doodle named Pride!

Scott Sisk


Scott joined Pride Support Services of Charlotte with the desire to make an impact in the LGBTQIA+ community. He has over 14 years of experience in medical practice management and leadership.

During his tenure, Scott served two years in the hospital’s system diversity leadership team developing a passion and desire to ensure equality for the LGBTQIA+ people.

Scott is proud of joining this organization and serve in the role of Executive Administrator with the mission of expanding new horizons for our Charlotte community.
